Paleo French Toast

So, this is going to be my first post... Let us start with the classic French Toast. However, there is a slight twist in this recipe. That is, if you do not like milk, or if you follow a paleo diet (no processed food, no milk, no sugar), then this is the recipe for you... Let us start...

Ingredients:


2 eggs;
Salt to taste;
1/2 teaspoon honey;
2 drops of vanilla essence;
1 green chilli, chopped;
1 tablespoon of olive oil;
2 bread slices;
Sliced strawberries (Optional)

Method:


Break eggs into a bowl. Add salt. Beat well.
Add in honey. Beat well.
Add in vanilla essence and green chilli, mix well.

Heat oil in a pan. Dip bread slice in the egg mixture, coat both sides well, and put it in the pan.
Repeat for another slice.
Pour little egg over the slices on pan, and cook till it turns golden in colour.
Flip to the other side and cook for a while, or till it turns golden in colour. 

Put them in the plate, and cut diagonally. If you desire, you can even drizzle and decorate it with honey. Decorate the slices with sliced strawberries (optional).
